Shrek auditions

Live, open auditions for our 2025 production of Shrek the Musical will take place in Leamington on Sunday 15th September 2024. Auditionees must be over the age of 16 for these auditions.

Applications for adults to audition have closed. Audition times will be sent to applicants by Sunday 8th September.

Everyone who wants to be in the show will be required to learn and perform a short excerpt of a song from the show and a short dance sequence. In addition, those wanting to audition for principal parts will need to read an excerpt from the script. We will not accept self-tapes.

There will be optional, free workshops on the evenings of Tuesday 3rd and Thursday 5th September, to run through the audition songs and dance routines. After this date, you will be given a slot for a group dance audition in the morning, and a slot for singing/reading audition in the afternoon.

Child auditions

There will be separate auditions for children to play the parts of Young Fiona and Baby Bear, with details to be announced in October.
