2025: Shrek the Musical

We're delighted to announce that LWMS will be staging Shrek the Musical in 2025! Join our unlikely hero and his noble steed Donkey as they embark on a big, bright, musical adventure to defeat the dragon and rescue Princess Fiona.

It's a dream come true for us, because this is one of the two productions we lost to COVID. It's a brilliant family show, full of fun and you won't have to go Far, Far Away to see it at the Royal Spa Centre in the spring of 2025.

Based on the Dreamworks Animation Motion Picture and the book by William Steig, with book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire, and music by Jeanine Tesori. Originally produced on Broadway by DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions.

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International. All authorised performance materials are also supplied by MTI.

Auditions
